THE ROLE OF THE FOREIGN PRESS CORRESPONDENTS IN LOPEZ OBRADOR IMPEACHMENT CASE

Since long ago, the impeachment case of México City major, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has been widely reported in the domestic and international media. Fine!

Nevertheless, as these journalists (Mexican and Foreign) have forced it to grow out of all proportion by saying that this case has “polarized the Mexican society”, a saying I find absolutely unexplainable, because, to begin with, said impeachment receives the front pages of México City’s papers only, while the majority of the audiences of nation-wide news tv and radio shows, call and write all day long asking to stop talking about the impeachment which is considered not so important and the society is fed up with it.

I insist this is a case inflated by the media, who has always (the vast majority) labeled themselves as Leftist and they befriend among them, pal circle and of course, the tastiest gossip is the one of the neighborhood not the one of the block two streets away.

An example of such exaggerated inflation of this impeachment is that the one and only single day the media focused on the demise of the Pope John Paul II, being this man a super personality of worldwide importance and being this a Catholic country, BUT, Sr. López Obrador resented so much not having the front page that he stated publicly that HIS case was far more important than the Pope’s.

International media have always handled this matter in a blatant slanted way, being the number one the FOREIGN CORRESPONDENT IN MÉXICO of the English paper Financial Times followed by all the other FOREIGN CORRESPONDENTS IN MÉXICO, for sure belong to the pal ring of the journalists that support López Obrador.

Up to here all that is just fine.

Only that they are going too far now in their attempts to “save” Sr. López Obrador from an impeachment he vehemently earned for himself, and now these FOREIGN correspondents through their papers are demanding from the Mexican Government to stop Justice to act in a case of the common law that is out of its jurisdiction.

They also gave themselves the pleasure of foretelling our country her fate through their editorial, saying that it is a most serious mistake and this could bring destabilization.

I wonder: What kind of tool do they use to see the future?

As all these attacks are coming from the FOREIGN CORRESPONDENTS in México and they have lost all sobriety and direction at seeing the huge patience shown by the Mexican Government, and they should be reminded that:

One thing is informing and expressing opinions and another is demanding, threatening and misleading.

WHY HASN'T ANY OF THESE JOURNALISTS INTERVIEWED THE AFFECTED PERSON –THE OWNER OF THE ILLEGALY EXPROPRIATED AND INVADED LAND – IN ALL THESE YEARS?

WHY?

VERY CLEAR, ISN’T IT?
